How to Install QGIS Desktop 3.22 on Ubuntu / Debian

Step 1: Make sure the system is up to date

sudo apt update -y && sudo apt upgrade -y

Step 2: Install the dependencies

sudo apt install gnupg software-properties-common

Step 3: Install the QGIS Signing key, so that the QGIS repo will be trusted and installed

wget -qO - | sudo gpg --no-default-keyring --keyring gnupg-ring:/etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/qgis-archive.gpg --import

sudo chmod a+r /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/qgis-archive.gpg

Step 4: Add the QGIS Repo

sudo add-apt-repository "deb $(lsb_release -c -s) main"

Step 5: Update the repository

sudo apt update

Step 6: Install QGIS 3.22 on Ubuntu / Debian systems

sudo apt install qgis qgis-plugin-grass
