2 Ways to install Blender in Ubuntu / Linux Mint

  • Via Snap
  • Via Flathub
Method 1: Via SNAP Store

Install the Snap package to your system and install Blender 3.0

sudo apt install snapd && sudo snap install blender –classic

Method 2: Via Flathub

Step 1: Install Flatpak if not installed on your system

Refer to the setup steps based on your distribution and install Flatpak on your system.

Step 2: Install Blender using Flatpak

flatpak install flathub org.blender.Blender

Step 3: Run Blender

flatpak run org.blender.Blender
