Install Tux Paint 0.9.25 in Fedora / CentOS

Tux Paint is a free, Open Source Cross-platform drawing software for children between ages 3 to 12.

Tux Paint works on Windows, Linux, Android, macOS, and other systems. Tux Paint recently released a new major update 0.9.25.

How to Install Tux Paint 0.9.25 in Fedora / CentOS

Step 1: Install the Epel Repo

dnf install epel-release

Step 2: Download the additional libraries which are required to install Tux Paint on x86-64 EL8

Step 3: Install the Dependendices and the Tux Paint 0.9.25

dnf –enablerepo=PowerTools install SDL_image-1.2.12-11.el8.x86_64.rpm SDL_mixer-1.2.12-4.el8.x86_64.rpm SDL_Pango-0.1.2-21.el8.x86_64.rpm SDL_ttf-2.0.11-6.el8.x86_64.rpm

dnf install tuxpaint-0.9.25-1.el8.x86_64.rpm tuxpaint-config-0.0.16-3.el8.x86_64.rpm
